How does the certification process work?

Register your interest

The first step is to register your interest in the ‘Outstanding Culture’ certification. You can do that by clicking any button on this page and answering a few questions.
It’s completely free!

Assessment

You’ll get an email with further information and a link to move forward with a formal assessment – we’ll look at the efforts you’ve made to create an incredible workplace. This includes policies and procedures relevant to culture.

Discussion

Once this has been submitted, we will review your application responses and schedule an informal discussion with one of our certification co-ordinators to discuss the process and costs of becoming certified (including the benchmarks we set).

Employee Survey

Next, we’ll conduct detailed survey of your current staff. We’ll ask them what they think of the culture at their workplace. All answers provided are confidential.

Analysis

After gathering data from both management and staff, we’ll apply the information you’ve provided against our benchmarks (this is further outlined below).

Results

We will then present the results of the surveys to you, an analysis of they key data we found and whether your organisation will be
‘Outstanding Culture’ certified!

When ‘Outstanding Culture’- certifying a company, we’ll apply a handful of simple yet important benchmarks.

#1: Your Goals & Values

Does your company have a clear, well-defined set of goals and values? Do you live up to those values? And, importantly, are your employees invested in those values?

#2: Employee Satisfaction

Are you employees happy at work? Do they feel that they are valued for the work they put in? Do they see a future at your organisation, and opportunities for continuous improvement?

Is there a clear, open line of transparent communication between management and staff? Do employees feel comfortable to speak about matters that affect them?
